uhh i was just wondering if any1 knows of any heavier dramas like ones that play with your brain and crazy stuff happens ( like in shining inheritance ) but yeah id love some suggestions ^_^ ,
the female lead in protect the boss is great in my scary girl (movie). for stuff that plays with your brain/is crazy you'd probably have more luck with movies than dramas.
that sounds pretty good i havent watched any korean movies before =D got any suggestions // ? also the lead girl in protect the boss is sooo great =D

Does anyone know the name of the movie where one guy is living illegally in different appartments, then is developping a love affair with a wife of a rich man. And at the end there is that silent threeway kiss, where he kisses her while she is held in her husbands arms. It's a pretty artsy film. And golf plays a role too.
To above: an obvious suggestion for a korean movie is "oldboy".

this and also although Im not korean (german born vietnamese) I can guarantee that 99% of the korean males probably don't fitthe ideal of a tall, handsome, rich, smart dude either haha. Just chill guys and don't get depressed because of a drama if you cry because of the plot it's ok.

that sounds pretty good i havent watched any korean movies before =D got any suggestions for play with your brains/crazy: maybe 3-iron or bedevilled? there are some japanese movies that would be much more fitting: visitor q, gozu, audition, cold fish. though this is definitely a much higher level of crazy than shining inheritance lol.
i thought my scary girl was great fun and choi kanghee was infinitely better in it than in protect the boss imo. check it out!

Thank you for linking this. Pretty comprehensive discussion as far as I can tell so far.

ONMG THANK YOU I WILL WATCH ALL OF THEM ^_^

so i just finished city hunter in basically two days and, well the ending was again.... weird, but kinda predictable, but why u give me no kiss scene scriptwriters....Steve lee was a pretty badass character, great actor...
time to check out another one if i have time :D

TT makers of Iris and Athena make bad endings.
|
I have lost count of how many dramas have had shitty endings. I just got done with Flower boy ramyun shop, and I thought it was a decent drama overall, though the ending was predictable. What really surprised me about this one was getting teary eyed over a supporting couple's story + Show Spoiler +Coach and Dong ju, who really are barely in the drama tbh. .
Really surprised me because it usually involves much heavier drama than this with deaths for me to get caught, and it was so subtle. I must be getting old and sentimental.

ok after watching an awesome city hunter drama of 20episodes in only 3 days, the ending still left me so unsatisfied -.- I even dreamed of an alternative ending last night where a new villai is introduced in the end .... after iris and athena i'm still stunned how a series can be so good with awesome ost and stuff and all 3 endings sucked so hard. is there a good source about why korean drama endings suck so bad? ^^

It feels like the writers work really hard to reach some sort of climax so the drama gains popularity. Then they probably just do a half-assed job when they know that everyone will be watching anyways.
On a side note, I downloaded a game called Ideal World Cup for Android where you match actresses.

Yeah I figured it was sth like that, most likely they film the pilot +2-3 episodes and the rest is filmed during the time the drama has actually been on air already, which always results in 20hour filming schedules for the crew, and after the drama reaches its climax and with decent popularity they know that everyone is going to watch the ending anyways...
btw: I would close the app too when it comes to that showdown... cannot decide between those two beauties-
