Suffers the same problem as other kdramas by having really slow plot progression mid season and what grinded my gears the most were 2 things.
1. Some character makes a heavy statement to someone, that someone then goes to the rooftop and we hear the dialogue again 2 minutes later and sometimes they even show the scene again as a flashback :D 2. the constant "eh?" when people talk to each other.
The 2 actors playing Mr. Oh and Han Suk Yool were really good. Do you mean the "Neh" ? coz I think its pretty normal in their language using that, even it literally means yes, could be used in many ways like what in the subs says. Which is very realistic imo
Whenever someone made said something which baffled another character and they didn't know how to answer.
The subs I was watching had it as "eh" but it was probably "neh" yeah. Just felt like it happened at least 5 or 6 times per episode.

I've really enjoyed watching Healer so far. The story and pacing is solid and the leads are amazing. It's the first time I've seen the male lead in anything I've watched and with how well he does it surprises me more and more that this is the case.
I actually dropped Pinocchio for this, but it might just be my personal bias for the female leads. =o

In my experience the worst written characters in kdrama are the rich kids, maybe that's my working class background showing though.

I think it's safe to say it's just generally bad writing for most kdrama, not just rich characters. Try watching Dong Yi and not be infuriated by how whiter than white she is written. By episode 30 I was internally screaming every time she did something ridiculously altruistic. Which was every episode for SIXTY eps. We get it! She's a good person.
I didn't watch Heirs because the first episode was the worst I've ever watched in Kdrama. Pinocchio is bearable but nothing special. It's a stock kdrama with all the basic characters and tropes you've come to know and love (or hate). The story is hard to swallow after a while. Everything is too convenient. Lazy writing.

Hype! I loved both (1997>1994>all other kdramas), can't go too far downhill right? Would have been better if they picked 2002 imo.

I think they chose older years to show the changes bet diff generations. 2002 is kinda the same compared to the present besides technology.

Then again you have a World Cup in 2002, hosted with Japan nonetheless. But I guess that's just one thing no matter how important, it's a fact that I can't really come up with anything else. (Unless we count the peak of Boxer's career ;P)

An e-sport related Reply series would be sick! haha

Healer is decent. It's like city hunter, but with a less annoying male lead. Sure, it's got a silly story and heaps of sappy melo, but it's not badly done. One of the most enjoyable main station shows I've watched in a while.

Sad that Pinocchio ended. Park Shin Hye top tier qt. Will check out her other dramas.

This drama totally turned me into a believer of PSH

Heartstrings is a cutesy PSH drama if you haven't watched it. Also My Flower Boy Next Door..kinda mellow and sad drama tho

I dont understand why people hate The Heirs so much. I really liked it. It was kinda like boys over flowers but in a good way. To me it was one of the best dramas of 2014.

Agree with you!! Let's hope that the ending of Healer is more satisfying than City Hunter. Also, if you like the male lead acting, you should check Warrior Baek Dong Soo. I love the drama as well!

Just finished my first Korean Drama - You're All Surrounded.
Man it was really good. Had to keep watching the next episode. Gonna be on the hunt for a new drama. I watched it on viki so I'll probably just pick a random drama unless there's one I must watch (new or old?).

Just finished Misaeng. Probably one of the best I've seen, the casts and writing were excellent, I love the content lots of life lessons, I even used some stuff there in my job interview lol (and i passed hehe). I hope there were more drama like this .
Misaeng Trivia: I noticed this around the middle of the drama. There were countless times that the office characters were about to smoke but not even one cigarette stick has been lit. All of them just put in on their mouths or hold it and play with it. (With the exception of Mr.Choi)

IMO You're all Surrounded was decent, not something i will definitely recommend people.
The most recent drama that I just couldn't wait for each episode to be subbed is probably "You who came from the stars". It was insanely popular for a reason, and I am one of the supporter.
There's plenty of dramas around that im sure we can recommend, mind telling us what kind do you like?
