Flux Pavilion (gold dust, got 2 know, really anything by him) Datsik ("gizmo" would be my favourite) Excision (his shambhala mixes are pretty good) Downlink (gamma ray, factory) Skism (Never Say Die Vol 7) Skrillex (alejandro remix, hey sexy lady) Doctor P (sweet shop, star) Nero (you and me, hot n fun remix) There's gotta be more but I can't think of it right now.

God I love this song so much. I make my own dubstep when I'm feeling inspired, I might release some here if people are interested

Recipe: - odd, bassless intro with some distorted sounds and a chilled, high-pitched melody. Repeat for about a minute. - Drop. Mostly comprised of the same slow heavy bass/loud snare pattern you'll hear in nearly every dubstep track, coupled with distorted "wobbly" saw-tooth/square synth in triplets pattern. Said synth alternating between triplets, "6-lets" and regular quarters/eigths, giving impression of intricate pattern (in dubstep's defense, it's probably the only form of electronic music I know that even features any n-tuplets) . About 2-4 repetitions of this, back to bit more energetic version of the intro. - Repeat. - A youtube comment chain consisting mostly of remarks how hard someone came to the drop, how 'filthy' the song in question is and how everyone should listen to dubstep if they are at all sane. See most of the songs posted in this thread for examples. It can be nice, but for me, only a few select artists/songs stand out as deviating from the standard pattern. It could be the typically slow pace of dubstep makes everything seem more similar. For the record, my girlfriend's stepdad is a major dubstep producer in the Netherlands, and I generally appreciate what he's doing. It's not that I have anything against dubstep as a genre, I have a gripe with the similarity of most dubstep. The Blue Foundation track on the first page of this thread is an example of how it can be done. Conversely, the Nit-Grit song linked in the OP is the exact embodiment of my recipe. I guess what I'm saying is I'd like dubstep artists to diversify their sound a bit instead of trying very hard to all sound like each other/as dirty as possible.

M'Black - Heartbreak (Bare Noize Remix) TheJoyBringer I love this one aswell! (aswell / as well???) it's soo awesome! As I have no knowledge about this type of music what so ever (^), except knowing that it's awesome. I ask for help here as there seem to be people here that clearly know their stuff. Im wondering if anyone have recommendations to give me of similar music/songs/artists, based on the songs above. (the first one I found out through CaptainTwig who posted it on this thread, thanks! :D) To specify what I am looking for, a nice mixture between a nice song/lyric combined with an awesome beat (love that base), but if it's too much of just beat and heavy base I will probably dislike it. I hope that some what helps you understand what I am looking for. Cheers!

Modestep is pretty sick, from UK. Bogey Wonderland is probably my favorite, but Up and Drug Gateway Theory are also good. http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=k-qnttkUFpY http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=k-qnttkUFpY A couple from High Rankin, i love the vocals in these two songs.
