anyway I'll settle on the theory that the royal knight guy is a Zeref agent who manipulated the Princess into using the Eclipse cannon so time can be pushed back, and all the dragons under the city that were once killed by Zeref (the once who hated humans and were killed by Zeref) will be brought back to life again. No new dragons coming. Ressurecting old ones that hate humans. if he is a Zeref agent hes not aware of it himself since he was willing to die for mistrusting the princess SOMEONE is feeding them false info though since they thought Zeref made acnologia (though that could be jsut that everything bad that ever happens due to magic gets blamed on Zeref) maybe she realised Eclypse is more like a nuke and would destory everyone in the city then a lazer beam that can be focused on the dragons | ||

gotta say those theres way too much time travel going on since we already know there are 3 different timelines already set up wait what if the world that was ruled by dragons (that was supposedly far in the past) was actually far in the future (the world where Rogue came back in time from) and Acnologia and Zeref chased each other through time to the past of the current world and passed off there present as the current worlds past and the reason why all the dragonslayers dragons disapeared at the same time was because that was the day they all decided to send there students back in time to kill acnologia | ||

Those 10000 dragons are coming from the past 400 years ago to be exact from the Gate. They are coming from the past.
