1 small hope is that if Zeref is going to be fucking with time then maybe this leaves a window for Ultear to come back permanently? She already briefly came back during that other battle since she is trapped in time or something but maybe she can come back for real. Kinda sucked what happened to her, even though she had a similar meh transition from bad to good that Jellal had hers was at least done better (and she isn't dragging other characters down with her).

I wouldn't say Jellal is dragging others down. His power hasn't really been shown except for against Natsu and against Acno. And that was some powerful fucking magic. His development was just shit.

Mavis confirmed useless after Tenrou battle arc.

Rave Master ended in pretty much the exact same way and if he does another series its ending will probably be the exact same

have you read Rave master? its basically the exact same, alot less fanservice and a smaller cast so its more focused on the main characters though
