So why did Laxus lose his cancer? Was the barrier thing also cancer so the robot got rid of all the cancer including Laxus'? Why did the killbot use a lightning attack when it was pretty obvious that it wouldn't work and was something that they talked about a lot? Why did Laxus have red lightning? How did he get it? What is it? How was that flashback supposed to explain anything? Mackarov doesn't have lighting, and I'm pretty sure Laxus' lightning came from lacrima. What the fuck is going on | ||

So im guessing it has something to do with his blood mixed into the lightning. But.. yeah.. it is pretty wtf overall. Lightning that is like lightning to lightning, with no explanation as to where it came from or why it appeared now.. No explanation how could laxus do a barrier anyway, I thought it was freed's signature magic, not something that you could teach to anyone. Hell, laxus should teach freed how to be a lightning dragonslayer then. Pretty weird chapter.. | ||

Considering that Laxus's datacard states he knows many different types of magic (one of them is the most powerful spell in the verse btw) and him being one of the strongest and most talented wizards around, i don't think its that unbelievable that he could learn 1 magic circle from Freed tbh. Jellal could copy mystogans entire skillset during the GMG. | ||
