Well unless all dragon slayers are 400 years old I don't think so. Gajeel was blocked as well remember. I thought that was explained by them having their dragons literally inside them. So it wasn't so much Natsu and Gajeel being blocked but Igneel and Metalicana.

Shouldn't it be Mavis again? BTW where did she disappear off to now? IIRC her body is still inside the crystal so her spirit form should roam free. Also IMO it should not be one of the fighters that GM (Natsu, Erza, Elfman, Guildarts) because masters are often prohibited from entering events or fights.

Nice chapter! I was critical of makarov disbanding the guild for plot because I thought the reason for protection was a weak excuse since they've been strong enough to take on any guild or demons. However, I didn't foresee the protection being against 730 united guilds instead of one, so I'll accept makarov's protection reason now.
Also, it's great with the new threat of alvarez that ft isn't ending as soon as I thought as since before there was only zeref to deal with left. Now, we get an alvarez arc too and it's nothing like we've seen before since we've never ever seen another country in ft yet, I don't think.
I still want to know what lumen histoire is! It's got to be something powerful enough for an entire country to invade and steal it!

Pretty sure waaaaay earlier someone made a comment about how their nation wasn't really that strong in magic and that there are a lot stronger ones out there.
