It was big, had cool vilans and was able to make the main characters constantly stronger without beeing cheap like Dragon Ball. Before the timeskip it was clear that the main charakters weren´t the strongerst no matter what with the Admirals or the 4 whatever. Thats also why it sucks after the timeskip. FT didn´t have that it is also very inconsistant with its rules and the world itself. | ||

TBH OP wasn't that great at the beginning, it was just Luffy going from one island to another stomping scrubs. The difference is that OP got better and better whereas FT got shittier and shittier. In my opinion! We shouldn't discuss OP in the FT thread. FT is all right imo, I'm going to wait to see where the story goes before complaining. The story isn't excellent but it's good enough to keep being interested in it. I don't care for nudity. So the torture scene is torture. | ||

Haha yeah the "at this point" is the linch pin here. This would have been awkard as fuck in One Piece, in Fairy Tail where we've already seen the ladies naked several times (2 times for Lucy, 1 for Erza). Come to think of it, the most awkard thing in Fairy Tail I've ever seen by far is Wendy in the baths. The fuck, she's barely hit puberty and we see her in the bath? da fk But even that isn't that bad. | ||
