Wish I could go, we're moving to florida from chicago in may and I couldn't even get tickets to asot 600 in miami since they were sold out by the time I even knew we'd be down there for spring break. Maybe next year

Sander Van Doorn, Dubvision & Mako - Into the Light
I'd love to go to EDC, and I've thought about it before, but flying from sweden+hotel+ticket as a college student... But I might do it next year, I really do want to go to one of the american festivals, people seem to get way more into the music/atmosphere there
I've actually heard the complete opposite. European festivals are much better musically and visually actually. The US still has a ton to improve to get to the level of Nature One, Tomorrowland, Lumonsity Beach Festival, Sunrise Festival, Creamfields, etc. If I were you and loved trance I'd try and make to the Lumonsity Beach Festival one year. That festival always has great trance bookings and even does a classic stage for one day.
I might have to actually check that one out next year or the year after myself.
You all probably know about this but I've listened to it so many time/it's so amazing, so I'll say it: check out Rustie's BBC Essential Mix, its awesome

There's a ton of audio rips floating around the internet. Porter Robinson's set was really good. Not even that big of a trance fan but AVB threw down an amazing set, and so did A&B, but how could you not like them?
Anyways, Hardwell's set!
Just found this thread and came in to post this video but someone already did it's the best set from Ultra that I've seen. If anyone hasn't seen it they should.

I agree this past year has been hardwells year. More then half the bootlegs other dj's have been playing we're made by hardwell he's come along way since just being an opening act for tiesto
Kalm Kaoz just went to Ultra Music Festival 2013 and created a short, 30-minute set on Soundcloud (https://soundcloud.com/kalmkaoz/kalm-kaoz-kaoz-theory)
Been playing around in FL for a while, and came up with a song, not festival material at all, more Adam Beyer-ish, rather ambient and dark
I've only linked it to a couple of friends so far, but it would be interesting to know what you guys think (especially if you produce music yourself, constructive feedback is always welcome!)
So much commercial and sometimes massively over-hyped stuff in this threads.
If you like techno and or deephouse I have some sick sets to share, some of which I heard on DGTL the spring festival about 2 weeks ago, best outdoor festival I ve been at (in around 7 degrees temperature) held at an abandoned shipyard in Amsterdam, best atmosphere and crowd Ive ever seen, you should check out their photos on DGTL facebook to get an impression
