Liquid's entire style is dull as it comes, KotL or not.

Still having a blast! The games between VP and Liquid were really fun to watch; it's sad to see the non-Chinese teams performing so badly, but it happens sometimes! Last year we had 3 SEA teams in top 8, this year none. Cycle of dota. As much as people don't want to hear this, I think Liquid is probably the worst team left. If they win, it's gonna be on the back of Mind Control, but since they're so strategy dependent I feel that they'll get pulled apart by the best teams. I absolutely hate all-star games, in all of their forms. I wish they would just disappear. This allstar game was boring, the last allstar game was boring. As much as Valve hates it, this game isn't meant to be played in a carefree fun way. Maybe I'm getting too old.... Last note: food trucks outside the arena are godly! My friends also got screwed in the cosplay competition. =(

I don't find Liquid dull because of hatred. Why would I hate them? The organisation is quality and they seem like nice guys. I find them dull because of how they play. Clearly I'm not alone. If others find them an enjoyable team then that's fine. For me, a largely neutral fan at this point (though I'd like an iG win), I find them the team least likely to produce exciting games, and I've felt that way for a long time.

I'm surprised that people find their play style unexciting. The kotl strat, in particular, tends to lead to them being behind early and then catching up and winning on a timing. People usually find swings and catching up exciting. People usually find timing strats (as opposed to hard carry long games) exciting. What makes liquid boring, then?

I think a lot of it is that they win through strategy more than play.

I know the "normal" analysts basicly got rotated out with every Team that was kicked out for someone else to fill their spot inbetween like Bulba for example. Which was good, don't get me wrong but I'm kinda missing out on Blitz. Think he was my fav guy on the panel overall although it's hard picking. Most of them were great this year: PPD was really good, PieCat obviously good, Akke had a bit of a hard time talking and making it look like he was comfortable there but still fine. Merlini got a bit of hate here for talking so little but honestly the guy just knows when to talk and when he needs to shut up and let the other people who know more than him talk. He's not bad as a player or anything like that, but when you're standing next to Akke and he wants to make a point you let him. So I really appreciate him on the panel whenever he gets to be. But really, I want to see Blitz
