"Shitpost" or not, we're not the ones broadcasting our saltiness on the main stream.

LFY outskilled VP hard. Some guys just can't deal and that's fine but don't be mad when it gets called out.

oh no you're not shitposting, i respect you for having a head on your shoulders. you're supporting your team like a reasonable human being.

LGD's taken them down a couple times in Chinese play (I think even in TI quals), and they lost single games to OG and even DC (???) in the groups. So they're not unbeatable - but they're definitely looking like the tournament favorites right now.

This schedule is really kind of disaster. Uneven prep times all over the place. Put it down on the list of "things multi-million dollar tournaments really ought to be able to do better".

I didn't watch their set against OG, but I don't think they cared in the slightest about their loss to DC. They had guaranteed 1st place in group (even if they lost that game and both to OG). I mean... they ran an Omni mid.

TBH it makes some sense for these guys to talk about VP more, it's the more familiar team to most viewers on the English stream, I'd assume. I'd guess the Chinese stream is talking about LFY more, can anybody confirm/deny?

It would be great to see them try to broaden the base of familiarity to include the Chinese teams/players, but I don't know that there's enough community interest to cause Valve to make it a point of emphasis.

Well that was obvious to me from the draft when they didn't talk about any of LFY's ES 1st pick. Even commented about how clueless they were. Tha't's fine. You don't have to know anything about the Chinese teams to talk about the game though. You can talk about the plays that LFY made rather than only focusing on how oh VP didn't play their best or whatever.

The transitions between the videos feels like they could have been a bit clearer. They are stylistic different enough that it works anyway I guess.

Meh, did anyone seriously think VP could've won past 40 minutes with these drafts? It's easy to outplay a team with Lycan/Necro/Viper cores. VP relied entirely on SK/Disruptor to counter-initiate and at a certain point, LFY had all the proper items to make that impossible.

?

They literally just had to fucking kill the top tower with raid boss viper at the time and just slow roll push and not get 3 man chrono'd like a bunch of 4k players. They had significant item deficits at the time, there was no way LFY should have won that fight, but that was a massive and crucial misplay by VP.

The only reason they even had that advantage in the first place was a horribly flubbed fight by LFY by the shrine that led to taking the mid rax (which one of the few instances of Lil having a great Epicenter combo). Viper himself could barely get damage on the tower thanks to Decrep + Sprout. The BFly on Viper was a great power spike, but besides him they had no way to slowly take rax.

If Money hadn't BKBed right before Burrow + Static Storm at the top fight, VP would've killed him and probably won the game.

All credit to LFY, but it's not exactly impressive to outskill a draft where the only playmakers are the supports; even then, all the burden fell on Lil since Solo was piss-poor. Everyone on LFY had some way to change the outcome of a fight without relying on damage.

Their 1 position was super far behind on farm. He only had MoM Linkens and BKB versus a nearly fully slotted Viper with 5k hp. It was a hard fought comeback for LFY, and you can't diminish it by saying it was easy to outskill them.

? Viper was doing plenty of damage, and had easy sustain and an Aegis. Even if they burned the Aegis to take the tower what the fuck is LFY going to do once they start hitting the rax? They would have to commit at some point and if they waste chrono, game is over.

VP just choked big time and threw the game like a bunch of typical 4k players sieging high ground in a completely uncoordinated pub, which is very uncharacteristic. Up until that point, they were severely outplaying LFY hard. Seriously man, stop with the salt. That was a catastrophic misplay on VP's part; LFY capitalized and won the game from there.

Man watching the aegis steal again, so crazy. It was basically fully blind.

On the other hand, solo was out of the pit, I think if he cast glimpse instantly on ES he would have secured aegis but I can see why he hesitated

That is an outplay of everyone.
Can you imagine that before the fight on the top tower, VP got 15k money more than LFY? And after the fight, they only got 3k money more. That is the turning point of all the game. And definitely, ah-fu, god!

Aegis steal was pretty lucky though. No way of knowing Rosh's hp. He just went in on a guess. Educated guess, but guess nonetheless.

Once upon a time, there was 2 close friends, named Ah Fuck and Ah Shit. They shared tears and joy together for years.

Then came the time where they must be separated to chase each other's dreams.

In the process, one of them evolved to Ah Fu, while the other evolved to Ah Jit Shit.

Plenty of damage but between Decrep, Cold Feet, and Sprout he couldn't lay into buildings for any extended period of time. LFY also made sure to cancel his Heart regen CD all the time. By the time Noone took down the tower, he was at 1/4th life and had blown his BKB. His BKB CD ended about 5-10 seconds before Aegis expired.

I think the panic BKB by Noone was quite bad. If he doesn't expend it to try and kill Super, then I agree with you. Without it LFY can delay the push long enough to save at least one rax. Heart was also a mistake. VP's effective damage was rapidly falling off and Noone was the only hero who could kill cores at that point.

Eh, if you watch the replay it was a good call. Lil goes for the standard Blink -> Epicenter play; Pasha force staffs in for the guaranteed Reaper's Scythe; Solo drops Static Storm. If they kill Void (and they should 99% of the time), Monet has no BB and they win the game. Except for some dumb reason, Lil blinks into the treants before using Burrow and ruins the whole plan.

Really? Prior to the Dire shrine fight VP had made their share of silly mistakes. Chasing an AA instead of taking mid T2 and forcing high ground, some goofy deaths on Pasha's part. Most of their networth lead was on Noone with the BFly and Heart. Ramzes was already running out of DIffusal charges and becoming useless in the fights.

Monet was only behind Ramzes by ~2000 gold, and he was already dead weight between Chrono, Decrep, and Ice Blast. Almost all of the gold lead was on Noone, and Viper isn't a hero that can leverage it to beat opponents with individual skill. In fact, none of VP's cores had that capacity. Only Lil and Solo could "outplay" anyone on LFY.

I dont know why people start talking saying China Dota is owning or the best. There will be only one china team from upper bracket to final, and there are 4 teams from western and 3 teams from china to fight for another slot to grand final.
