He's stood out even in losses and hasn't made game throwing errors that other "big name" carries has made. his play has been clean, he's been very reliable and there hasn't been one game where I thought he was off.

resolution is, and has been, really, really good. Joining DC was really smart on his part, CIS teams seem to be lacking stable leadership at the moment.

It gave him a more distinct identity compared to other illusion carries. Whereas before it was just "pick the one that's most OP this version", they do sufficiently different things now that there's reasons to pick different ones for a particular draft.
