If Secret counts as an EU team DC is NA.

And I doubt many people would have accepted a trade before the tournament. It's too late now :D.

Flame complexity and NA when they lose in wildcards. Take DC as their own when they suddenly start doing well. Classic.

DC are honorary euros in same sense Cr1t is honorary na doto representative.

Fnatic got top 8 but that seemed like a really lucky bracket for them. First against ESC, the weakest team in the tournament, and then Alliance, who had no business being in the upper bracket in the first place.

true. I don't see them having a chance vs either Liquid or Newbee though. Maybe vs Liquid if they have another meltdown but they should be the heavy underdog in both cases

They earned the position to play ESC round one though by being on the bubble. They also 2-0ed VGR which would be the equivalent team from their group, so they probably would be fine against any dead last team.

DC = NA. If you can't accept DC at their worst, then you don't deserve them at their best.

Anyway but seriously Alliance was never going to win that game with that draft if they didn't win within 30 minutes or so.

They were really close in the first while.

And theeeen things went sideways.

They seem to lack a continuation plan after laning. They don't really play around the strengths and weaknesses of their drafts.

And if someone from NA tried to take Secret as from their region now that 3/5ths of Secret are NA they would have been flamed relentlessly.

And that is correct as well.

Their series against col was still beyond horrible, tho.

I mean, obviously bracket helps

but to win you dont have to beat everyone, you just have to beat the teams in front of you

So name me a decent team with more than 1 NA player outside of EG? The fact a big organisation like col does not bother to pick American players is telling

Damn i will be salty if EG denies the trivia and somehow wins again.

Though if they get 3-0d by EHOME in finals, i would not mind.

What does it take? Diving T4s when T2s are still up?
