Alliance won a TI being one dimensional

Mainly because one team that figured out a counter threw the key game.

Still the most deserved TI so far.

While Wings will rampage through upper bracket into GF, win it and then kick Blink and Faith_Bian?

Kicking winning team is a western culture?

Nah, Newbee were legit best team at TI4 after the group stage.

I can argue about EG but i cannot deny that they had a techies player in times when every Chinese team would go on tilt had it been picked.

Consistency matters a lot here. Alliance literally won every single game up until the grand finals. MVP barely scraped by and beat a bad OG.

People are getting me wrong, I think MVP is a very solid top 6-8 team. They've always been but aside from Dota Pit, they just can't reliably win a tournament running over people.

Wings would just go play RPGs for 6 months.

The sad part about TI is that all of the work that teams did coming into TI was pretty much worthless. It's about peaking at the right time.

Also, 3 SEA teams in Top 8.

Eh, EHOME's work so far pretty much laid down the blueprint for all 9 euros and Moo in lower bracket.

I'm taking into account the results of the season leading to TI and no team will be able to dominate like alliance did because teams are so much more professional now.

Every TI winners has made it at the very least, regardless of what happened in groups, to the Upper Bracket Finals. Big lower bracket runs have been made, but no one has made it all the way. So going by history, this year's winner is between Wings/EG/Ehome.

Slacks treads the very, very fine line between cringe and genuine hilarity, and this time I think it's actually quite funny
