Alch and naix bought a bunch of "don't lose" items. It would take them a while to replace them. Meanwhile Riki and disruptor can still grow

Well that was an incredible outdraft right there.
This is why MVP/Wings etc. have way more chance at upsetting liquid with curveball picks and playstyle.
OG drafted more or less obvious heroes and got punished really badly
