It's actually pretty simple, but you need to separate "safe to leave" (ie. you don't get an abandon) from "no stats recorded" (ie. you don't get a win/loss). Those are two different things. If someone abandons before first blood, first tower and 5:00, the game is both safe to leave and no stats recorded. You will not get a win, a loss or an abandon, no matter what you do. If someone abandons after first blood, first tower or 5:00, the game is safe to leave but stats will be recorded. You cannot get an abandon for that game, but if your team loses (either by all leaving, or by actually losing), you will get a loss. It is possible to get a win if you stay and win 4v5. The other case is when your whole team leaves within a short time period. In this case, nobody gets an abandon, not even the first person to leave. You do still get a loss. | ||
