I either go for solo mid, or support sidelane. If mid i rush bottle, then get phase+drums, and if sidelane i get arcane-drums. Then I go into some sort of utility/disable item (i find that building utility keeps you relevant longer). Usually my top choice is halberd, orchid if lots of escapers/team fighters (if I am going to snowball in, i want to silence the nastiest teamfight spell), necrobook if against a team where i think i can get solo pickoffs and when I need pushing power, or scythe if I am rampaging and get one of the above really fast. Bkb seems really wasted because after I have used all my items, I would almost prefer disables to be used on me than on my team, and I usually die to right clicks in teamfights anyway (maelkaward) I have tried things that i see pro players do in pub/troll games (namely shadow-blade, deso, and shivas) but I have had terrible times with those items, and lothars in particular seems pretty darn useless. One incredibly powerful lane i found besides centaur tusk is a lifestealer+tusk+ranged support offensive trilane. Snowballing+open wounds+ice shards is nearly a guaranteed kill if the enemy gets anywhere out of tower range, and with any other disable you can easily win tri v tri fights. also on a gameplay note, i try to avoid snowballing my team in during mid-lategame fights, rather i try to get an angle where i can snowball through the entire enemy team (assuming all 5 are grouped up) and land on a support in the back. Ideally the short stun and the focus put on me allows my team to follow up while I throw out spells/lock down items. How do you guys usually build tusk, and more importantly, in what situations/play-styles do you think he is strong in the first place?

he's pretty tanky if you just build str, and his autoattacks put out decent damage as well he's really good against melee carries and any squishy hero that relies heavily on good positioning (eg lesh, dp, sf, etc) he's good with heroes that relies heavily on positioning (aka ranged carries) during teamfights just spam shards until your team has a chance to get a pickoff. try to avoid using snowball to initiate

Storm vs jug. Should SS win that? Because I sure didn't. In fact, storm vs clock went pretty badly as well...

How you lose vs jugg tho I cant fathom. Maybe theres something wrong with your build?

Lose is relative, I guess. I wouldn't die to him unless I did something dumb, and I did ok by cs etc, but I couldn't man up on him. I did ok early while his damage was low, but after he got bottle crowing and then made phase I felt pretty useless. If I went past the creepwave to zone him with remnant he'd just bladefury into me for a ton of damage because he's faster, and in the process push the wave into my tower while being totally immune to my abilities. He'd even have a shot at the rune. Harass didn't seem to do much when he had healing ward and bottle crow, and with melee xp and a good number of creeps from bladefury/random walk-ups, I don't feel like I greatly slowed him down. Am I supposed to be able to kill him through bladefury and healing ward and (potentially) omnislash? Maybe I just need to call the lane a wash and go gank sooner.
