And few people put in his shoes at his age and his level of relative stature could pull off truly leading this team. Also basically confirming my fears about his draft strategy, being, "make players happy." That's now how you draft. I mean you don't go "keep giving SingSing Jakiro and Venomancer" but you have to draft to win. Anyway, Sad few days to be a Na'Vi fan.

I watched the last 4 Summit games (only ticket I have right now) from Dendi's perspective. Granted, the first two were on TA and mid TA is a monster in general what to speak of in Dendi's hands, but today I saw two things. First, he was sloppier than he had to be mid, not just because the matchup was hard at points but actually missed CS etc that he normally would not have. Same thing on SF. And other uncharacteristic errors like that. The second was that past about midway, in the clinkz game, when a teamfight broke out he spent pretty much the entire time on the periphery seeing if he could do anything...and then would either just take off or go "fuck it" (pretty sure he was on tilt past a certain point). It's been beaten to death but they really let that game go by not exercising their strategy, and then they got to the point they needed a lucky break to have even a chance and it just did not come their way. So those are some specific observations. As for what you're saying...I think that's just Dendi. That's why you put him on playmaking heroes because it's hard to fight his instinct to make plays. Either way, if the rest of the team is not getting it done he's going to try to be superman and unfortunately it does not always work out.

Its pretty obvious there's something going inside NaVi, they had some shaky games when the line up appeared but after that they started to show great progress but the last few days, none of it shows, its like they went back to square 1 after being on square 3-4 (with the new line up)

He mentioned that he is guessing, but knowing his close insights with NaVi organization i would say there is a real chance to see someone drop from the team. What would be your bet, who would NaVi look up to drop and whom could they pick in it's place to keep all Russian speaking team? my bet: no freaking clue, will try to think about it... Wow this might be my first time listening to Ukrainian, and it's the strangest thing ever... I think I should understand things, but I can't understand anything ![]()

If you've watched Dendi's how to play solo mid video, he mentions that players are doing a lot of other things like watching the minimap and communicating with their team, so they will not play flawlessly. And Dendi's post ti4 interview he mentioned something about different ways of practicing.

BUT, i doubt they will get it. On EU, TT is already out as well, and i think they are a bit more popular. C9 is prob more popular as well. Secret is without doubt more popular. But this doesnt matter at all, cause a chinese team will win it anyway.

And Dendi's post ti4 interview he mentioned something about different ways of practicing. Eh. I was watching his player perspective and during the initial laning phase he is pretty damned focused on the lane and usually basics like CS are impeccable. During the first few minutes he often is not looking literally anywhere else than at his hero in lane, maybe with the very brief exception of the courier. I've watched many hours of his stream and I will say some times his camera is borderline-manic even during this phase but that has not been the case. Hell wasn't XBOCT quoted earlier in this thread saying for dendi only midlane and two runes exist?

Tbh I'd be surprised if this weren't the case for most mid players, especially in this era where the role is very farm/CS-oriented. Teammates telling you about possible gank attempts + keeping a close look on the minimap should be enough.

Yeah, I'm not saying it's wrong I'm saying on Clinkz game especially he was looking sloppy despite his apparent focus on the lane.
