Many would have bought back to defend rax, but navi had a plan. They were always going to 5 man throne, and they knew they could force it with their buybacks. If they died back, alliance would win. Great decision making. Top 8 given how hard the scene is right now and how little is expected from NaVi is for me a success.

Will be an interesting match up and will see some contesting on less popular picks both teams favor. Such as io/lycan. Has Navi played any lifestealer at all? Not a hard hero to play and pretty sure all the other teams have played it. Maybe that will be the pocket pick for navi to try to take the series. They are going to definitely step it up, but hopefully any nerves are calmed and they play their game. Let's go Navi!

But, no use complaining on the bracket, gotta beat the best to be the best. Will be an interesting match up and will see some contesting on less popular picks both teams favor. Such as io/lycan. Though of course we'll need to beat Liquid first and it ain't gonna be easy. If Navi can force enough chaos in teamfights to put Kuro and co on the edge all games, they might have a chance. Sladar might be a great pick if they can secure decent farm for General for timely blink.

Drow strat too if it's not banned. Something very different, to take Liquid off guard. Now would be a good time. Also, interesting how both DC and Navi did bat/bounty first two picks on game 3, glad it worked out better for Navi.

We are where we are expected to be. I think we had shown that only OG MVP liquid newbee fnatic are above us. Given a better draw (liquid-MVP swapped with lgd-fnatic), we could have gotten VGR instead of alliance, followed by likely LGD, which overall could be easier. Beating liquid would be an overachievement. Let's hope for a strong showing!

Liquid and Newbee are more consistent and play very solid Dota. Though fnatic can be a coin-toss to be honest. Mushi is pretty underwhelming recently.

If Fnatic play or draft the way they did in game 2, we would lose. Zero openings and we lose cuz we have shit cores. But there's always the possibility of them getting lycan'd or wisp dual mid'd by us. I think we can beat any team except og/newbee using our signature strats.
