DK is out. Thats the end of DK 2014...
So disappointed in all the plays, they dont look at all like champions.
I am such a sad fan right now ugh.

Well, that's that. Not exactly surprised, since as of being knocked into the loser's bracket, I gave DK about an 8% chance of being champs. It's just such a competitive year and they had so many games to play through to get to the end.

Unfortunate for the players, with at least two greats retiring without claiming The International, and possibly more (no word on what MMY, iceiceice, and Mushi are going to do), and this may unfortunately result in people looking back on these players and not fully appreciating how good they were.

Gg dk. Will be remember for their ups. This wasn't a top performance. I think too much pressure with all the shit that happened to them. Can't blame them for that. You can see the difference in execution. Will always remember that group stage vs eg. That was a masterpiece.

This DK roster is going to get blown up again probably. If Lanm and Burning do retire, there is 0 chance that Ice and Mushi stay with the team.
Pushing with tanky cores is too strong this meta and there are too many heroes that fulfill those roles. As versatile as DK was, there is still no answer to the push.

I feel they played their hearts out, but what with all the pressure, their already unstable gameplay led to terrible decision-making and... yeah. Their last few drafts were okay, execution not so much.

LaNm is gone... the dream... the player who has crafted some of the most amazing drafts for DK.. will no longer be. What an amazing year it has been... so many great memories.. from the comeback at WPC to crushing everyone at starladder. He'll probably marry his girl and thats it ;_;

BurNIng probably gone aswell.. ;_;

This iteration of DK was soo fucking good, so many amazing plays so many flashy drafts and strategies..

So sad atm.

iceiceice is staying 100%. I think Mushi too, it's not like he can return to Titan like nothing happened now.

I want to believe LaNm plays for another year, he just came to full force, really sad seing him go.

As for BurNing, I don't know really.

LaNm will be gone dno about MMY
Burning...Well I hope he will stay :/

I can only hope they stick together. I'd hate to see another team disband because they didn't take TI, especially one as amazing as DK.

They tried. It didn't end up working out, but not winning TI4 doesn't invalidate all their great play this year. It wasn't the happy ending we were hoping for, but all in all, they still had a hell of a run over the last 10 months.

Mushi and burning not playing to their potential

Still a great team that i will continue supporting(if they stay together) and i hope they continue even if lanm retires(you wont retire burning, who are you kidding

Realistically, DK will undergo a large reshuffle with few or none of the players remaining on the team. LaNm and BurNing should retire, MMY may consider retiring as well (geez, these guys are ancient), and Mushi and Iceiceice both have expressed that they want to return to their respective home countries on previous occasions.

It was a great run, and I'm heartbroken that they couldn't go out the way the wanted to, as the champions of The International. There's no denying that they were a great team, though, with incredible talent and dedication. Here's to DK 2013-2014, the kings of an era that I'll never forget.
