Is it normal for Chinese to excuse themselves so shamelessly after something blows up like this on social networks? Edit: My post is out of date. Don't read it. Conclusions: We're leaving having learned a bit about the shady practice of chinese dota, and also that newbee's twitter poster should be out a job. | ||

That post was post without the knowledge of Mushi himself. Our admin posted because before this incident happen, we heard a lot of rumours that start to boycott Team DK. As a fren and also a fan We are pissed off regarding this matter. We hereby say that we are sorry for any inconvenience cause to anyone. Mushi himself will post regarding this matter soon. I know that in public games the racism towards russians/peruvians exists. But I haven't seen pros gone at each other like that. They should be rolemodels, except I know that they aren't these days. Just take a look at sing etc. | ||

Then the community without proper knowledge of the case just starts jumping to conclusions, and starts the hatings.... Now we see how fast rumours can spread.... | ||

I don't want to watch a sport that involves political / strategical maneuvering beyond the game. The whole point about keeping the playing field level is what makes watching teams play against each other enjoyable. If the boycott was true with race being the point of contention, thats just racism and any competition organizer throwing millions of dollars around should respect the sentiment of its international supporters. If the boycott was true but racism was not a factor in it (highly unlikely given Hao, Mu and Banana's history), its still scummy and they should be booed at TI. If the boycott was not true and Mushi's allegations were false, why would he or his team mates say such thing? They are such veterans of the scene that losing a few games purely because Newbee is on form won't bother them, so I suspect theres something more going on here. Even if none of these were true, Valve should address the issue anyway to remind all players participating in TI to be a good sport without bigotry. | ||
