Maybe. Maybe that's the case. But the amount of times Newbee ignored DK's requests for scrims seems to exceed xiao8's claims that he spent TWO nights taking care of his wife in the hospital. Also, if Newbee were busy with personal matters, why not just tell DK that? And why reply sarcastically that they will only scrim with DK "after they are kicked out of the WPC tournament"? I know that there is a chance that this might be a big misunderstanding, but right now I feel like the signs do not point that way. I mean, opter, TBH do you really feel there is a bigger chance for this to be a misunderstanding than otherwise? Considering past remarks from Hao/Banana, and the rumors about how xiao8 was also behind iG's isolation, and how he was involved in ZSMJ's dismissal both times? | ||

i mean NB played DK for all of may up to 21st, then xiao8's wife got sick, then marstv started on 24th, then WPC on 26th. not much time to scrim there :s i dno why they don't reply, maybe they were waiting for xiao8 cos he is team captain and all. two nights is not an unreasonable time to spend in hospital at all... and yeah there might be some stuff there, but i don't think this situation is any different to how chinese dota has been running for the past 3 years or whatever. hardly a time to pitchfork now, and if you do it would only be fair to pitchfork everything going back 3 years. i, on the other hand, just want drama-free dota. | ||

I am not a DK fan nor a Newbee fan, but you seem to be too biased and harsh on this case. Yes u have your rights to suspect things, but to go as far as u did in your arguments seem unreasonable. you're putting bits together to form a picture without proper evidence backing it up. We should let this matter submerge since it has already been solved, instead of creating more drama..... | ||

DK is also pretty naive to call newbee out in the public, because this is all part of their own misconception that everyone has to scrim against them in the first place. If Newbee doesn't want to scrim against them they have no right to call them out like that. And they do not have proof that xiao8 is going around asking other chinese teams to not scrim against them. Its clearly that someone is trying to set them up or the players are just being arrogant and naive and expecting the world to follow them. I just think that this is netizens blowing up shit in general just because there isn't much drama in dota 2 scene. Time to move on | ||

Maybe xenophobic is the more accurate term, but it's clear that it's nationality that this sentiment is centred around regardless of the word used.
