This is a hardware forum where people range from 12 to 50. And especially the older guys are fighting to the teeth at times, especially if it's about cost-effectiveness of hardware or simple fanboy - ism that needs the other party to be flamed at every opportunity. There's no such thing as compromise or backing off and re-evaluation of one's position. Well, it happens but not that often.

There's some people who post about how much TL's moderating standards have changed (usually the political type you know who I mean), and I get that the site pre-SC2 was more lax and "fun", but your old haunts shift with the times. Maybe reflect on whether it's you who changed more than the site and its moderators have.

Fallout 76 isn't looking promising. Might be the first real flop of Bethesda since Morrowind.

I'd like to know how a bug riddled mess full of unfinished stuff and game crashing is a good game in and of itself

Of course there's a chance we have different definitions of a 'good game' but F76 definitely isn't on that list for me

Bethesda can't even rely on their modders to fix shit this time around (Fallout 4 to this day still has bugs that are fixed with literally changing one line of text, which a mod of course does)

And i mean that's before we get into incredibly shitty design decisions, like clinging to an engine that forces them to lock the framerate to 63 because the physics break at higher framerates, or them insisting that voice should only have the option of on/off, no push to talk is available so you end up just hearing background noises from people's homes while playing like arguments, people chewing, music playing, babies crying, dogs barking, cars driving and whatever else

And so on, so many absolutely idiotic design decisions

Edit: I just hope F76 is a wake-up call that'll make people stop giving bethesda a free pass for releasing terribly bugged games and relying on modders to fix their shit, but that probably won't happen
