Cross Edge did explain why Mana Khemia 2 just sort of... ended. Without any real resolution. Massive crossover between several (very random) jrpg/srpg franchises, but most of them it feels unrelated to the actual story. | ||

Anyways when i ended the conversation she did say that she hopes i wasn't creeped out by her and that she doesn't understand why she was oddly comfortable with me. And when she would call the office she would use my nickname instead of my first name so that's an improvement. It certainly made me feel giddy that the same girl who i was planning to ask her digits months ago (but didn't happen cause i was too scared for some reason) is paying attention to me. I don't think anyone expected a 3 hour slugfest brawl. Also it really, really sucks that they got last pick every single time, not to mention that we were unlucky enough to wind up on their side of the bracket whereas if we were on the other side we'd get to play someone else a lot easier to qualify. It's odd because trash mobs are kinda tough, a couple levels make a huge difference, and bosses are surprisingly easy to kill with how powerful abilities are in this game. | ||
