The game is really fun. It takes a bit from the Batman combat and does some cool stuff with it. It isn’t afraid to let you take out enemies just by webbing them up and throwing them into a wall to stick to it. You never lose your mobility, so you can so some really impressive stuff in both combat and stealth. And the swinging is just a blast once you get good at it. They make is so easy to thread the needle between buildings and pull off some impressive stunts. And the writing and pacing is really good.

The dialogue is kinda grating to me but everything else is solid. Spider-man is corny as hell, but I also appreciate that they never shy away from his confidently making terrible jokes. I am just happy they let you play as other people for different perspectives, which is so common in comic books. I would do with less of the poopy stealth gameplay and more photo taking. Though once Mary Jane has a stun gun, the stealth becomes kinda cathartic. Edit: also the fake twitter is the game is super good. The fact that Spider-man has a official twitter account with 15 million followers is super funny.

The statement at the beginning, it is hilarious they have to give that disclaimer That is a really standard disclaimer for most legal advice based entertainment. Creative listeners have tried lawsuits against legal advice shows in the past, so that disclaimer exists to remove any delusion that the podcast create a relationship between the attorney and the listener. The disclaimer makes it easier to kill any such lawsuit with a motion to dismiss. Law fact of today: Many frivolous lawsuits are killed with what is called a Rule 12b(federal rules) Motion to Dismiss for Failure to State a Claim Upon Which Relief can be Given. In P6 short hand: This lawsuit doesn't ask for anything the court can rule on under the law. A motion to dismiss is the first barrier to any lawsuit and a lot of disclaimers focus on making a motion to dismiss easier. Also a lot of disclaimers are bullshit. It is funny. But I often describe the profession of law as "Worrying Professionally".

Nah, that’s 80s Republicans + 90s Democrats trying to capture the success of 80s Republicans. Liberals are the 1960s lunch box, pro-union democrats that created all the social programs under LBJ.

The reason they're called liberals is that they largely believed in liberal capitalism, albeit with regulations. See someone like Elizabeth Warren. She's very heavy handed on regulation but she isn't a socialist as she believes that capitalism itself is not an inherently bad system, but that unregulated it leads to a poorly functioning society. Sanders and DSA people will argue that capitalism itself makes regulation impossible as the only solution, as the wealthy elite will always eventually overturn those regulations. Most Democrats are NOT socialists, but the GOP calling literally every Democrat a socialist has resulted in the word being squishy in the US. Plus, Democrat is a worse word than socialist in some deep red areas. Both Democrats and Republicans were universally believers in liberal capitalism until fairly recently with level of regulation being the largest difference between them. Even now that's true for a lot of Democrats. Neoliberalism is what people typically referred to the Clintons as. Especially Bill, as he won by running as conservative-lite on economic issues. Classic liberalism is just another term for libertarians in most political circles (generally it is used by people who don't want to be associated with libertarian social positions). Basically, the roots of the term have nothing to do with social policy and everything to do with economic policy and level of restriction preferred. As for how the term got associated with Democrats vs Republicans, I have read up on it and it is really, really convoluted and no one is entirely sure https://www.theatlantic.com/politics/archive/2014/02/the-origin-of-liberalism/283780/
