Recommendation is 15, but most of the ones in it are like 40-50 with this one massive outlier. Tried to refactor it a bit and am rapidly understanding why it got so ridiculous (it is querying something on a webserver then writing certain facts about it to an excel file every time something meets a certain criteria. Since it is the same excel file, it has to be kept open and accessed from the same method as far as I know how to do). Looks like plenty of the methods she wrote for other files are 100+, checking them now. Right now they work, and I'm a bit afraid to change them...

Even if it isn’t I would never accept anything unpaid.

I was job hunting a while ago and someone offered me an unpaid internship to get “experience in the legal field”. I told them I already had a paying job and they still tried to pitch it to me like it was a good career move. I had to tell the silly woman on the phone that she should find a recent college graduate to take advantage of.

But every firm that offers unpaid internships for law students also, to nobody’s surprise, have terrible attorney to support staff relationships as well. Like endless hostile work environment claims.
