I'm super curious whether the implicit obligation to document, i.e proof, the improvement of a company's energy related performance is going to backfire hard and cause organisations to instead adopt piecemeal improvement to assure re-certification instead of improving it as much as feasible.

- one survivor from a team lying in a bush/hiding in a toilet, never moves or makes a sound, always dies to the zone - one team outside a house, another in the house - nothing happens, until a third team happens by and kills the team on the outside - then they wait in their houses/outside houses until the circle forces them out, some people die - the final two teams are in a standoff for 5 minutes until the final circle forces them to move, whoever has better cover or has to move less wins - nobody who takes fights outside early on wins; they start shooting someone and someone else comes from the side and kills them so you literally never see anything exciting, despite the players probably being pretty good gamers if they can actually force this game into an eSpOrT, I'll take my hat off redesigning houses so they aren't impenetrable fortresses and deathtraps would be a good start + Show Spoiler + tobi is also casting so ded gaem e. you literally have one full team and 4 solos, some of them healing in the bluezone until they die then the last guy doesn't even try but kills himself with a grenade I'm sure this isn't how you design a competitive mode

Because that seems like a good place to start if encouraging active play is a goal. Then again I've heard rumors about how the PUBG devs operate so that seems unlikely.

Then again I've heard rumors about how the PUBG devs operate so that seems unlikely. operate is a strong word i think they have some kind of a point system in place, however the game would be a lot more exciting if they only rewarded like the winning team points for placement, I mean that's the point of the game e. of course part of it might be that the players are used to that sometimes over one second of grace time that you get online because of how they decided to code it i haven't really played squads though so don't know how relevant it is there but solos you sometimes can't even prefire when someone is pushing you and expect to win if they have high ping

- they made bullet drop and air resistance so realistic that nobody even tries sniping beyond 350m anymore, just ruin the best part of the game for no reason - nobody likes the random red zone, brendan greene refuses to remove it and says you are bad if you die to it and it exists to punish campers when campers are literally the only people unaffected by it and if you try to use it to push people that's when you die to it - the weapon spawns are insanely random - and the weapon balance is shit all the gameplay of r6 I've seen has been people peeking a corner for 10 minutes zzzzzzzzzzzzzz

On one hand you're like "bring back hitscan snipers" but on the other hand you're like "fuck campers"... but if you make it even less safe to leave a building then more people are gonna stick in a building. Iunno. I feel like as a designer you need to have a vision for what you want to achieve and create a feedback loop that supports that vision. In my head I picture PUBG games as a bunch of betas parachuting down and only the most conan/rambo/alpha of them survives, so give like +5 max health on kill and slightly upgrade whatever gun you used to murder a person... so the end fight isn't about who played the most conservative/passive, but who most efficiently murdered people to climb to the top of the pile. Maybe superiorFPS COD killstreak calldowns are the thing. 2 kills gives you a supply calldown, 5 kills gives you a 30 second heartbeat sensor etc etc.
