It just dawned on me that they actually released PUBG, the game all about waiting and careful tactical engagements, without working sound. Basically you can't tell when a sound is coming from below or above you, or from left or right.
Stereo only works in cones front and behind. I'm not a game dev but surely you'd have to design it that way from the start.
I also finally got it to work by flashing bios and disabling half the bios features. and by work I mean it only crashes 50% of the time I try to start the game and 100% of the time after a match. Now I just need to figure out why it feels like 500 ping playing on any server. Other than it probably is.
From a technical standpoint this is probably the most interesting game release since crysis.

they still havent fixed the audio bug + Show Spoiler + where sounds fail to cross from the right audio channel to the left audio channel and vice versa
eg, if you're looking at a building and a guy inside crosses from your right side to the left, the left audio channel is much much fainter than the right channel even though the distance between yourself and the target are equal regardless of the direction

If bug is synonymous with insect, then spiders aren't bugs because they have more than three pairs of legs and have no antennae. I assume because a caterpillar is on the road to becoming an insect they classify as one technically.

Also had a quad kill teamfight where I did 8k hero damage. You can basically never get there but every once in a while you can pull out an aghanims ult at the right time to comical effect.
