I think if you just swapped the mechanics of remote mines and proximinity mines around and maybe gave a useful talent like proximines do like 50% building damage at lvl 20 instead of two meme talents at 25 you'd have both a somewhat difficult offlane hero as well as a function outside of being somewhat decentish offensive combowombo hero as long as you are ahead in levels and money.
That would probably be the easiest way to have something.
Ofc. the entire talent tree needs a rework. Only the blast off damage seems ok at 15. Movement speed is nice but a little bit late at 20. The 30% exp at 10 is a must pick everytime as is and is just fucking lame in general.

That or rework the actual mechanics, they are kind of all over the place. Blast off, the only offensively useful ability, both having the longest cast animation in the universe as well as being cancelled by half the stuns and disables and silences mid air also takes half your health off so half the time you even get the silence on just about all the enemy heroes you are still dead unless you have force staff and later on aeon disk.
That and having one of the worst ultimates for a pos 4/5 hero. Remote mines are only really good with money and exp and map control, they also enable the awful playstyle with aghs where it might takes 15 minutes longer to lose the game.
