Lifting properly so you don't injure your spine / knees / shoulders are very very important. Unfortunaly it seem to be lost with crossfit and that's why people laugh at it. And those pull-ups doesn't build like any strength at all. All about controlled movement. I.E. this video: Their form for deadlift is so horrible. They look like they are about to injure themselves at any moment. Don't push through your toes. It would have been nice if they'd emphasized that point and, you know, not put it as evil misogynists trying to sneak their viewpoints into society. I know one of these types, and he's a great guy. Not a mean bone in his body. He just needs to have some of his more antiquated ideas knocked out of him someday. In fact, treating these people as "enemies" is probably the best way to turn them into full-on misogynists. I mean, what would your opinion on feminism be if you thought that women started to treat you like the scum of the earth because they adopted feminist principles? Of course you'd start hating feminism, because in your eyes, it would be hating you when you were only trying to help. | ||

It’s the old phrase, I don’t want to beat them, I want to win. But some of the people I know get that confused, especially online. Edit: Also the lack of urn in that bounty hunter build bums me out. | ||

Definitely. It's a huge problem not just with feminists, or even just with particular types of feminists, but with absolutely everyone. People are terrible at distinguishing between trying to attack an ideology and trying to attack the holders of that ideology. And what I've seen of most of the activist feminists in particular is that they don't realize that they're just the latest step on a multi-century program. They're not going to wipe out sexism in their lifetime, not even if they had a perfect Misogynist Detector and extermination camps to send the unclean to. Their role is to slowly scrub out little bits and pieces. It's not a victory-or-death situation. It's not baptist-style conversion. It's about tweaking mindsets just a little, and letting the next generation go even further. | ||

VS had an urn, which excuses that, though sometimes a 2nd urn is nice. deso/ac/heart over dagon/eblade is the part i personally take issue with. the funniest bh build i've done though is crimson guard / blademail / heart just running around trying to track people and going for 3-5man shuriken bounces while they focus me like "wtf i thought bh was supposed to be squishy" | ||
