I get frustrated with play by play casters just talking to fill up space but I don't really blame them as long as they aren't interrupting analysis for nothing I mean it's their job to talk and silence is hard to use well. Redeye wrote some really good stuff on the use of silence a while ago actually. It was more about hosting obviously but it was excellent if nuanced advice. | ||

Winter's still hard to understand sometimes for me. I don't doubt his knowledge one bit. An interesting example is Merlini. I think that he's great to listen to on stream, but his casting is a lot worse to listen to. Not entirely sure why that is. | ||

umm what? Maybe I'm remembering wrong but I'm pretty sure his English is completely fluent and better than most casters? I'm guessing you just mean his accent? | ||

Honestly I think Merlini's biggest problem is that he just doesn't care when casting boring or bad games lol. I could never dislike anything ben 'merini' wu did tho I am #1 merlini fanboy since like 2007. | ||
