Yes, but I didn't like it the first time and was taking a major that would have transitioned to CS pretty well had I decided that I wanted to do it instead. My interest was always networking and I never saw how CS was relevant to that. I had passed half the CCNA before going to college, decided not to finish it because well, it only lasted 2 years and college was going to last at least 4.
I slept through half of my calculus classes and got a 3 on the AP exam - no one in my class failed the exam but no one got anything besides a 3 or 5 (you had to have a 5 to skip calculus. Which I admit, I would've needed to retake). But with a 3 I never had to take a math class to graduate in any non-hard science field. I was originally a business information systems major before being lured to English/Philosophy.
I was just typing out a bit about my college life and people trying to get me to be a math major but realized it was too long of a post for this thread. Also it's a really strange story.

YEAH LIKE BEING THE NEW R1CH

CAN R1CH GET ON ADDING AN ON-HOVER EFFECt TO THE RELATIVE TIMESTAMPS ON LD THAT SHOWS ABSOLUTE TIMESTAMPS
I wrote a greasemonkey script to fix it but it works by sending a request for the quoted version of the post and regexing out the timestamp from it which is hilarious and also doesn't work for locked threads
r1ch pls I think I've posted in MiB about it like 3 times hahahaha
ok it's 5 am I'm no longer fit to post rofl
also wtf emu the plugin is a good use of time what do u even know

did someone call for an engineer???

I'm not even looking up what vim is. It seems unhealthy to know about.
Anyways, to complete the saga about my college life and my relationship with math because really, it's just too fucking weird of a story-
I eventually took statistics as a gen-ed and wanted to go back 4 years and slap myself for not switching to a saner major than English. The head of the math department tried twice to get me to switch to a math major (once after the statistics 101 course because I completed the semester course in 2 weeks- online class self-paced), but I thought that was even more useless as a major than an English degree (I eventually graduated with general education... I had a hard time staying focused on one subject). And by the point I took statistics it was too late for me to become a math major, so that's pretty much what I told her.
The head of the department's first attempt I was hilariously oblivious to though - she grouped me with two insanely hot women who were inexplicably math majors in a relativity theory class for a group project and then near the end of the semester called all three of us into her office to chat about the project. Then they all basically told me being a math major was awesome and I would be good at it. I proceeded into one of the strangest speeches I've ever given (I wasn't medicated for any of my mental illnesses at the time, so it was WEIRD) wherein I linked feminism with the concept of textbooks and negative infinity and that I didn't like Shakespeare because I never finished reading the tempest and still got an A on a paper about it. At one point I started talking about the concept of nothing and the linguistic implications of non-recursion. And at that point (i took a breath) they told me being a math major was awesome again (each one of them gave me a different reason, none of which I can remember). I clearly didn't get the concept behind the meeting and I never told them my actual reason for not being a math major. Instead I just babbled in amazing form about topics that had nothing to do with anything. Eventually I left the office for my next class and realized "wait, we never talked about the group project in that meeting at all. I wonder why and what was that all about?" Then proceeded to not realize the answer to that question or just how weird it was for years.
