also is sleeping in a car in merica actually dangerous?
|
it's uncomfortable but idk why it'd be dangerous in most places lol. It can be illegal depending on where you're sleeping I guess.
I dunno I've napped at least 50 times in my car during work before/after I get my lunch.

At my last job I had a coworker who would literally just put his head down on his desk for like 15 minutes to nap lol. He was from China and said that it was relatively common where he was from and that they'd sometimes turn off the lights for a bit to let everyone nap, which sounded nice. Maybe he was fucking with me idk.
More recently I realized my offices have a "woman's room" that's basically a dark very comfortable room with a fridge in case a woman needs to bring her baby into work and the baby is breastfeeding but I'm a software developer so there's like 2 women total here and neither is pregnant so I just nap there sometimes fuck ya

Work makes me want to be an alcoholic guys pls help there must be more to life than this

Get new job. Or a new hobby. Start a band. Learn to cook. Move to Texas and get a job making weather software(I don't know about that last one, a buddy did it and he seems to be doing ok).

don't move to texas
making weather software would probably be pretty fun tbh
|
I was born in Texas - that's enough Texas for my entire lifetime.

idk what you do for a living, but life usually gets better. and if it doesn't it's time for a change bc your happiness is more important than your job. IMO anyway.

well you have to leave windows cracked for air circulation while ur sleeping right which makes u vulnerable or something but it shouldn't be an issue in most locations imo

for whatever reason these motivational things that try to tell you how to live your life greatly annoy me something about they way it's presented is so disingenuous idk

Yeah, I wouldn't do it in some parts of Boston, but out where I live it would be fine. You're more likely to get hassled by the cops than have someone rob you.
