PPD is displeased with the number of qualifer matches.
who cares this is just ppd being above and almighty
Well I do. I agree that it make for shitty matches that no one gives a fuck about because they have 7 more that week for events they can't even remember. I think one of the reasons we had such nail biter matches in DAC was because every doubled down on preparing. The number of qualifier matches is just spam to say "a ticket with over 50 Dota matches".
its different 10 weeks 500 games group stages suck qualifiers never will. i guess he was mostly referring to these. These dumbfuck 1 year groupstages and "invite only qualifiers" are a pest
Really nice feeling guitar, (the action is super comfortable) the tone isn't bad for the pickups, just a really nice guitar. Could easily be priced 1,000 for the quality of it.
Just think about it. Against a reasonable team, a dota match, from creating the lobby to GG being called, is going to take well over an hour. If each event at +20 qualifier matches, that's 20 hours of work per player, times 5 players per team. That's over +100 man hours of work that the event puts on the team just so they can hype of their ticket sales. And if you don't qualify, you get shit.
Seems like a raw deal for any team, really. I cannot see any reason why they shouldn't complain about 20 hours of bull shit just for the chance to get paid.
Comeh, do you have an acoustic Guitar? Or an acoustic electric? If not, I recommend investing. Its just a good thing to have.

Damn that one is beautiful, probably going for a cheap 7 string + SD Nazgul pickups, will see.

I have a really low quality acoustic - don't play it much though. Used to try to learn antoine dufour stuff on it (WHICH IS HARD AS FUCK)

also now im in the same team as ppd in mm ~
I don't think they shouldn't have qualifiers. But they don't need 20 matches for every team. Just split the baby and invite the teams who have earned it and make the rest qualify. Sure people will be grumpy they didn't get invited, but its better than this shit.

hmm you actually got a 7 sting I remember you used to talk about getting one for like a year.
Also I should actually upload guitar videos to youtube too.

Yeah, quarter life crisis and whatnot. Almost got an amp, but ended up backing out of that. I'll have another crisis soon enough I imagine.
I've had a decent Marshal amp since High School but I kind of feel like getting a Mesa Boogie or something. Although I like the mark IV's and the Lonestar (even though they are far different), so I have no idea which mesa I would get.

I've argued this for a while but omg EG has a 2% chance of not qualifying so they should have to qualify blah blah competitive integrity
Yeah I legitimately have no idea what my next amp would be - might be more metal driven since thats pretty much what im into lately. I don't want to spend a ton, and it will probably be a combo (tube) amp cause Im just gonna be playing in my room or my office or whatever my living situation ends up being.

Then again Im also not a socially retarded person who cant get a job like 4/5th of the people who stream on twitch.
on the real tho y r u so afraid of selling out?
Im afraid of not loving the game I chose to play for 12 years of my life because I have to do things I dont want to do to "sell out".
It is after all, only a game
fair enough but it's not like nba players hate basketball after they get signed or whatever ur telling me you're gonna hate dota if you incidentally get money for playing it? it's just like a bonus on the side
feel like as long as you get your priorities straight and always place the game ahead of the money you're gonna do fine
