im curious to hear GD's opinion of this.while i think that people have given out gaming sessions with top donors and subscribers, that this should be no different...but i think the notion of calling it a "date" and offering it to your top donor might be against the rules of twitch and potentially selling yourself as a digital escort. thoughts? | ||

I give you three guesses why this streamer is getting shit: Wait for it...... Wait for it...... Its a woman and she used the word "date". So now guys, dumbfounded by girls at whatever stage in life they are in, are enraged that she would use the fact that she is a girl and they are attracted to her(which is not her fault) as a way to get money out of them. Other streamers do the exact same thing, but they don't use the word date. If a dude had used the exact same phrase, no one would care. Zero people were harmed by her actions, its just people being dumb and outraged as shit that does not matter and doesn't affect them. | ||

IMO that's a huge grey area and twitch needs to be very careful. e: stream overlay | ||
