It's hard for me to play a classic RTS other than BW/SC2 and I can't really play them just for fun. Whereas while Caesar III has some minor combat mechanics it's much more focused on just building and managing a city. Plus the cities look really cool when you build them all the way up.

In the past I've gone through a bunch of nonsense with torrents and sketchy programs but I'm no longer a student so in this case I downloaded from Amazon for $6 and it just works. GoG had the same price I believe. On January 15 2015 00:43 Slardar wrote: Age of Empires 2 and Caesar ....damn...the memories. Those games were tight as hell. Tempted to buy AoE 2 HD on Steam. AoE 2 is super legit. Also probably the top player in AoE2, TheViper, streams it pretty regularly: http://www.twitch.tv/tyrant_theviper

There are about 1.5k people playing right now on Voobly. It's no BW but it's definitely still fun to play sometimes.

That mod was fun, but god the people who made it and their fans drank to much Koolaid.

So AOE 2 HD is some kind of AOE 2 mod for AOE 3? I had just assumed it was AOE2 with updated textures or something lol

Homunculii are humans created with the philosophal stone as their core they represent all the human features their father rejected doesnt seem that stupid to me Brotherhood spoiler + Show Spoiler + IN Brotherhood Homunculii were created from some sort of alchemy in which the original was a bottled mass of something, while in FMA they were created when people tried human transmutation. I prefer the FMA anime explanation over Brotherhood/manga just because of that.

Plus the villain was much more interesting than a giant power house that required an army to kill. The whole WW2 thing sucked balls, but I am willing to let it pass and pretend I don’t know what is on the other side of the door. Also, when are series going to learn that telling us what is on the other side of the “door” is bad? Not knowing is better. The unknowns is scarier than the known. On January 15 2015 01:53 Slardar wrote: Weren't they all created by the Father or some shit? You're telling me only 7 people attempted human transmutation ever, that sounds even less plausible. They also needed to eat the red stone to obtain a form and be immortal. If they didn't they just died. Some many people could have tried, but only the "villain" and Eds father knew that you could feed them red stone to make them more powerful.
