Brotherhood is better imo, aside from their explanation of the homunculii, that's kinda stupid, in both Brotherhood and the manga.

Brotherhood is darker and follows the manga closer, FMA I haven't seen that recently, so I wont comment on it.

The standard opinion is that Brotherhood is better I think. MAL has it as #1 anime IIRC.

I think i watched the one that wasnt brotherhood because its too new for oldschool toonami. I liked the concept a lot but thought the plot was clunky.

You do realize that their carries have had like 1 of 2 builds since late S2, right? I haven't played the game in 5 months+ and I can still tell my friend's what to build in what situation just because nothing ever fucking changes in that game. You have no choice in what you build, and if you do something that isn't "meta" you get flamed and people AFK.

they're just fascinating because they're mega successful but a lot of their design decisions are just baffling. Like they all make a warped sort of sense but it gets to the point where the items in league are get so fixed in whats good for not just every champ, but really an entire class of champs that deviating from that is just a trap choice and it comes to the point of 'why even have items' which is where HotS went.

that style of design creates a game which is more easily digestible for Average Joe from Bumblefuck, OH.
I would argue that as long as people enjoy it and there are alternatives for people who don't, then it's not necessarily a bad thing. I would also suggest that monetary success has at best a tangential relationship to artistic quality.
