4k won't be relevant until 2-3 years later, and even at that point it might not be relevant blurays don't even have enough capacity and a regular 4k uhd movie would be around 40-50gb, so if you're trying to stream something in that definition you typically don't even have the bandwidth to support it. also there's compression when you stream a video so you'll have to deal with things like artifacting; basically, the technology simply isn't there yet. afaik i think netflix, amazon, directv, and yt all offer limited uhd content. if you choose to play movies from a hdd to your uhd tv and you only have 1080p content, then the tv is just going to upscale the content. it's kinda like attempting to convert a v0 or 320kbps into lossless flac - you can't add definition to stuff that simply isn't there in the first place. anyhow, by the time your uhd 'investment' becomes relevant, there's going to be better options, so I recommend sitting it out and getting a good 1080p, especially since your eyes really can't see the difference at 55" and below. I noticed there's also a lot of curved tvs choices in your image and I'd recommend staying away from those because the viewing angles on those are awful, unless you're going to be the only one using the tv and sitting directly in front of them. in terms of brands, samsung and sony make the best, but i think samsung had the best balance of quality/performance to cost. also, with samsung their quality depends on the size of the tv you buy. their 65"+ models are considered their mid-premium lines, but below that size there's a lot of people complain about 'panel lottery'. basically, not all the displays are made by samsung directly, and they outsource production to companies with arguably poorer quality (inaccurate picture & colors, abnormal artifacting out of the box, luminosity issues, dead pixels, etc etc etc). samsung inhouse panels are best; panasonic, sharp are decent, but if you get one sourced from some chinese company then you're fucked. http://lcdtvbuyingguide.com/lcdtv/compare-reviews.php i used this extensively in my research, along with some tv buying forum filled with nerds. also i sourced my tv from amazon, but i checked carefully to make sure the order was fulfilled by amazon. didn't have a problem but your experience may be different. | ||

My heart shattered into one million pieces when I didn't get to see You. The emotions inside me turned into this dark void of hatred just waiting to get released from my body. When I got back home and saw your great post-ESL Frankfurt blog with pictures of your beautiful body it was like love at first sight again and all the negatives turned into positives. Posting news here demotivates users to check out the thread with that piece of news. Or even worse, that thread not being made.
