releasing an unfinished game under the pretence ur gonna """""""""AGGRESSIVELY PATCH""""""""" release a patch every other month that changes some pixels in the new reforged graphics cant use reforged graphics anyway because they fucking suck, make ur game lag and are terribly designed so u cant tell shit apart no ladder system, people made a custom ladder out of game where everyones playing now no trace of mmr in 2v2+ game is just a straight up worse than wc3 released 17 years ago with a bunch of features missing only upside being good ping that isnt even good ping half the time cuz u randomly get matched on korea servers and shit but thank god no ladder so u just leave half the games at start cuz it lags a bunch of broken custom games the game itself is still good cuz its a 17 year old game from blizzard reforged has been the biggest scam since dayz good reason for this ![]()

since it has been 15+ since last original IP apart from that TF reskin E. I make a comment here about netflix and I suddenly get an email about finishing my netflix signup in my old email which I would assume I've used for this site. Don't think I've ever even visited netflix before or given them any of my emails. Interesting to say the least. It says this was sent to you because you created a netflix account and I didn't. Then it says if you didn't create a netflix account you can unsubscribe. So they know it's bullshit. So why and how was I suddenly subjected to this email? If there's ever anything interesting on Netflix now I will sure as hell illegally torrent it and feel good doing it.

Most appalling thing about that metacritic page is how high the critic score is.

Shoutout to AOE2DE that introduced new content, and some QOL features you can disable. And a tutorial for multiplayer. On another AOE2 note, my friends are now too skilled for me to realistically 1v3 them.

[Inland Empire] The game calls you from an unsettling emptiness, a void within your heart that craves excellent role-playing games.

I nearly finished d:os2 but that's just because it was otherwise really good game. The writing is so whatever.

Like either massive lore dumps or dialogue like someone was getting high off their own fart, I nearly finished d:os2 but that's just because it was otherwise really good game. The writing is so whatever. It's the first video game to make me laugh out loud (hard!) in I don't know how long. The mechanics are fascinating. The writing is genuinely great, the story is bizarre. And I am saying this as someone who, generally speaking, cannot stand games that try to be story-heavy because I think that they are normally heavy-handed and bad.

I still have pretty strong emotions when I think back to the game. I think it's probably one of the truest representations of being a millennial or younger (even if our protag is probably older than a millennial would be) and our current world & politics. It's such a beautiful and deep expression of a lot of concepts while having a lot of restraint and not hitting you over the head with messages. Mechanically it's also a masterpiece and blows any other game's dialogue system out of the water.
