If they don’t have a controlling stake, I wouldn’t worry about it. Also, putting the game on the Epic store wouldn’t make Tencent any more money. The reason games are going to epic is because Epic offers a better margin and is paying for exclusives. And given how hard it is for companies to survive making games these days an extra 18% and a nice chunk of money up front is a good deal for most developers. But I don't think that applies to POE, who would do a lot of damage to their brand, especially since they have their own launcher and store.

It all depends on what the studio needs and I don't know at lot about GGG. If if they can sell their game directly and deal with all teh bandwith costs for less than 12% of what they take in, than the Epic store doesn't make sense for them. But if the cost of running their own store and launcher is to cumbersome, then giving 12% to Epic might make sense.

I get why people like using steam and don't want to deal with the epic launcher. But video games is a real hustle and a 30% hit on every sale is a lot to eat. Developers were looking to jump ship on steam the instant a viable option came around, because 30% is a lot. It sucks for customers, but folks who were not going to buy a game because of the launcher were already pretty low value for most developers.

Who is super fast, does all the damage, lights you on fire, that is very risky to block, the camera hates you and wants you to die.

I also dunked 7 spears, who apparently gave a lot of people a really hard time. Everyone has their boss they crush and the one that kicks their ass for a long time.

toughest fights for me were probably the second owl fight and the first corrupted monk fight (dunno why. it isnt that hard a fight)
demon of hatred wasnt exactly easy for me. you can reliably dodge almost all of his attacks but i think you need the upgraded shield subweapon to be 100% safe from his first phase fireballs.

From a game design perspective, this is the most interesting decision in the game for me so far. It's curious and awesome that fromsoft can put stuff that is basically ubiquitously bad design and fairly obviously be like "Yeah no this fight is basically designed to have the camera fuck you."

Genichiro was a hard fight as well at the time but I think he’s the boss that teaches you to play the game properly
