I loved disgaea 1 way back when but I can't imagine going back to them as an adult... The sheer time investment man...

stuff like persona, a bunch of FF's, tales series etc On March 21 2019 09:59 teddyoojo wrote: ultimate mindless grind ever is ragnarok, would recommend but i dont think ive ever found anyone else that liked it soo ragnarok online ? not the grindiest game (i've played worse where an entire batch of monster killable in 1 minute gives 0.01% experience .. yes i'm not kidding that's even with 2x exp p2w ) but that game was indeed fine (it is popular here and i played it from time to time)

The sheer time investment man... Maxing out the game would be totally insane, but playing through the generic postgame seems fine (the extra scenarios and what not). I'd guess it's taken me like .... 40-50 hours or so to get several characters to level 3500 or so, with a couple reincarnates along the way. Granted, I did look up some leveling strats, and disgaea 4 is apparently easier to grind levels on than 1-3. It only gets to truly absurd levels when you start messing around with the item world (The first 17 of 20 tiers of items are sold in shops, and to get higher you have to steal items from high level enemies in randomly generated dungeons, and then to get from tier 19 to tier 20 you have to find a special dungeon inside of the dungeon. Then on top of that, each item has random npcs in them that you can hunt down and move between items). It's also a fairly simple game, so it's pretty brainless. The disgaeas after disgaea 1 let you skip the insanely long animations, which helps (not that it isn't funny to watch them throw solar systems at people) Endgame Atelier can be similarly ridiculous, depending on the title (some involve lots of RNG for items).

There's a bunch of fun stuff to do on OSRS as well as mindlessly grind, and you're kinda free to make up the game as you play it. Definitely not a game that tells you what to do. Although if you start, lemme know so I can send you some tips. I mean if you're open to phone games, you can try Azur Lane. It's got a rerun of an event going on so you might be able to jump on it. :O
