Ok guys, I need advice. How do you deal with a person like this...........
I go support rubick for a jugger in the safe lane, and things look okish. I get to lane and see that he has only a poormans shield and no regen or other items. Seeing this I instantly give him my tangos cause we are laning vs WR and QoP and that hurts, while causally telling him something along the lines of "hey bro, regen is pretty damn important lvl 1...you shouldnt ever leave the base without it"
To which he gets mad at me and starts telling me he won't listen to some baddie cause he's actually good and he gets his regen from leveling healing ward (which he didnt until he had spin and crit maxed 0 in stats) and I respond by kinda being a dick, fucking with some CS. He then gets REALLY mad, mutes me, and convinces the entire team that I'm some garbage asshole and my entire team mutes me. I'm now a 5 position rubick that can't communicate to his team or ping or do anything.............
Seriously....how do I cope with this? And yaya, this is kinda QQ....but it's not at the same time. I feel this is a legitimate thing that a LOT of people run into, and people who handle it well would be much appreciated explaining how they do so.

But after 2-3 games it just felt perfectly right to play my wizards. God damn I love me some invoker/rubick, to the point where I can last hit and animation cancel without even looking at the model cause the timing is just so ingrained.
It's like goon micro I guess, or that stupid riding a bike thing. Once you REALLY know how to do it, you'll never forget. invoker and rubick have fantastic attack animations in dota2, it doesnt count
old goon micro is like drow and cm for me.

So I am a fairly new player who just started getting placed in the "high" skill matches. Ever since about a week ago I have been really struggling after the laning phase breaks up. Even if I do well in lane, I am usually unsure as to what I should be doing next.
I like playing heroes like sk, enigma, brewmaster, tide, etc.. When I play these heroes the games go really well, I sort of understand this teamfight/initiator role. The problem I am running into is when I play support / carry. I am not sure if it is just a general lack of focus from my team mates or if I am just not doing my job properly, but pretty much from the 15 minute mark and on I run around aimlessly unless someone is sort of playing the role of a captain. What sort of goals should I be shooting for in the midgame?

As a carry, keep ricing. Many carries will get a way to farm faster (ie BF on AM, glaives on luna, etc), especially in the jungle. Only join fights if either your team is going to win so you can get a few kills or a tower, or if you can make the difference in holding a key objective (roshan, towers sometimes).
Its kinda hard playing supports in pubs, since the team doesn't co-ordinate. You kinda have to rely on someone on your team to initate fights etc. Just try to go where the fight is and ward. Maybe someone who knows more about supports can help more

Its easier to carry yourself out of noob bracket rather than supporting.
When my win/loss ratio is starting to look grim, I turn on -ap and pick Lone Druid for afk jungling or TA for 100% mid win. Works everytime.

okay: mini-guide on pub communication: 0-none-nada-khong-零
Here is why: First of all, no one wana be told how to play the game that they are playing ALONE by some random stranger. It is like walking on a street and a guy walk by start telling you how you should live your life and how alcohol and cigarettes are bad for you... FUCK OFF really. The chance are you being match with them simply put you too on the same scale level. If you wana complain about your team playing bad and dragging you down, statistic wise you should be able to win back in future games if your mmr drop out of this lose with the assumption that you have the skill for it obviously.
Secondly, if anyone actually wana get better, they will not simply play a pub game. They will go find a guide on the hero they wana play, they will look up videos for it, no one just gona go "holy shit i think im a god, lets try this hero i have never play in my life out". As a matter of fact, if they are doing horribly, they will be looking that up after the game and try to get better themselves than relying on you.
3rdly, chance are, your advice is not even correct. In fact, DotA is a game that is so complex that there are many many horrible answers that could be working in multiple cases. Try playing with singsing or Solace, you will be bursting your brain out if they are on your team.... As most of you already know singsing, here is an example on how Solace play Antimaga: Phase boot, vanguard, vlad, necro 3, dagon. And guess what, he is 15-0 that game... There are many many factors that when it come into a game, you cant simply do a normal math caculation to predict the out come. Mechanical factors as well as mental that is: anytime you play in pub, half way through, lost all of your outer tower, chance of an enemy start throwing the game bc he got killed so many times and turn the game into 5v4 in your favor is pretty damn high.
4th the mental effect. As mention above, you have no clue what type of language a person prefer to hear. If you being a dick, obviously you gona be hated by a ton of people, if you are being nice and use voice chat, chance of you being muted is still pretty damn high. In fact, i have mute several voice user simply bc im enjoying the music or just having a conversation with someone else while playing. Chance of people getting irritated by your communication method is pretty damn high in my personal experience. Unless you are a girl then please, do use voice that and keep stealing charity money.
Solution:
1/Learn basic communication dota language: Missing, mia, ss(dont know wtf is this but it works with russians), yes, da, no, cyka(joking, niet), go, back, tp.
2/ Ping and draw appropriately.
3/ Keep your ideas, thoughts, opinions on a notepad and make sure you never publish it until you die.

Most people aren't completely adverse to you suggesting things to help them. The people that are will cause your team to lose the game if you talk to them or not so you might as well try to be helpful. It's all about how you suggest things. If you complain at all during the game and talk shit to people nobody is going to listen to you. Nobody likes people who complain. A positive attitude goes a long way.

Is it me or does double clicking items to cast on self not work very well? I've noticed this a few times before, and in a game today I sometimes had to spam to get my push stick to work. I never had this issue in HoN. Guess I'm going to revert to the regular method of using items ;p.
