You split your pennants so you have an account cheering for both teams. You should theoretically get all the drops that way, as long as you don't miss any matches.
Now I just need to pay up... Just because someone else gets a drop, doesn't mean you will also get a drop, as far as I know. I'm not guaranteed any drops, but this method raises my chances by having an active pennant for every winning team.

And that's exactly how Valve takes your money

ya, believe it or not but if you play dota1 long enough, these money worth nothing compare to what icefrog did for the game. Just think about these as donation to thanks Le` Frog for what he have done for us last half 5-6(?) years

yup, i spent 20e now and i didnt regret one bit (and i will spend more if they released some crazy nice gears for my fav heroes)!
I truly love Valve, thats the way to make game, you make a great game and made people want to give you their money happily, unlike some company who released D3.

Mouz has fanboys equal to SKT while nobody really cares about WE(they are the worst out of the chinese teams too) so it wasn't that suprising. And yeah these pennants can be used for future matches and since Mouz plays in quite some its a pretty decent investment if you want the items, just not for this International.
Valve is really smart about taking all mah moneys.

Just to make this clear, the pennants can be used for upcoming tournaments yes?
So if i would like to use those pennants later on after the international, wouldn't i have to pay a fee(if any) to watch those upcoming tournaments?

Hopefully this sets a standard that we won't need tickets to watch in game ^_^

Conversely, it gives you more incentive to buy tickets to watch future tournaments. I see little to no reason why Valve would remove the ticket system. What is more likely is, that the really big tournaments, like ones that Valve organise, will not requrie tickets.
|
you will still need to buy tickets
Tickets go to tournament organizer and pennants to team, won't change anything
|
Tournament tickets will stay. Pennants are just to support your favourite team.

God I love dotabuff.com. Did you know Visage wins 98,08% of the games where he gets an Aegis?

Ah k, yea it gives more incentives to buy tickets for future events. I feel more inclined to buy those tickets now since i've got the pennants already :S
