Quick question, does Erasme think the chance of randoming ANY hero twice is equal to the chance of randomning a specific hero twice?

Yes.
hence the problem

if it was a 108 sided dice
the chance of rolling any given number is 1/108
the chance of rolling that same number again, *after he has already rolled once* is 1/108
the chance of rolling any given number twice in a row is 1/108 * 1/108

That link you just quoted says the prob is 1/6
by the rule of the product.
Since this can happen for 2,3,4,5,6, as well as for 1,
the probability of rolling the same number twice is 1/6

by "any given number" i meant "a specific number"

well then ur right i guess
but basically what we're doing
is
rolling a hero
ANY HERO
and then trying to roll it again, (thats the only time we're searching for a specific hero)
and thats why its like 1/108
