On the 2nd hand, it probably more then irritates casters. I mean there isn't another platform for game streaming other then Twitch so it isn't like if they wanted to move away from Twitch they can. MLG only stole the CoD stuff (like most people actually care for that crap anyway) But this really does extremely annoy me. I don't tend to hate Google but recently the way they been fucking with the Gaming Community in general has been just fucking annoying. I'm probably more upset that Twitch sold out. | ||

edit: this was going to happen whether twitch got bought by google or not. if another twitch competitor gets large, it will happen there too. vod views are pretty low and most will be deleted anyway. | ||

In smaller communities the comment section can actually be great. A good example would be epicnamebro who makes videos about dark souls and demons souls. there is always some interesting discussion going on in the comments wherein people are just talking about the game and speculating on lore. ENB actually talks about notable comments in his videos, answers questions and offers his own thoughts. Its great. | ||

If the community is small, it can actually provide a nice tool to communicate with the streamer and can lead to interesting discussions.
