|
i don't even get it he has 10 years of dota exp and he's still at 300mmr? did he forget a 0 or something

Wait, I didn't even know it went that low for like real players. Do people even go to lane at that MMR? Or is it like that game where someone had tred, arcanes and tranquils on Skywrath and was the highest on the kill board?

YJ89: TIPS of the day: Do not scare lose in dota because once u quit in the game u fail to learn something to improve yourself after u analyse the replay. Well although i play 10 years i do lose to public player because a mountain there always got higher one. But I dont lose often. A quote to live by folks.

I tried to do road to 0 mmr but after a while you can win games even if you TP into the enemy and feed yourself 50 times while giving the enemy every gank / lane rotation your team is doing.
Games are pretty pointless below 2k mmr.

I am just in awe there is MMR so low. You think the population would bottom out. But I guess just like there is always someone better. There is always someone worse.

IIRC you can dodge damage in Lone Druids transformation, but not the stun / debuff portion of the spell. So you probably can't dodge glimpse. In alchemist transformation, you can dodge everything (including stuns). Its a bit goofy really. This is where I need a Yango to clear things up. u cant dodge everything with alch transformation but stuff like single target stuns etc. i assume its the same for lonedruid, atleast thats always how ive been playing Actually yeah you are right. I dunno maybe i should test this.
You can dodge stuff that normally can't be disjointed like the PL spirit lance and Sven stun using LD transform, along with the usual single target stuns. I don't believe you can get rid of X, at least I haven't been able to. Source: experience.

Or once your MMR gets that low everyone is intentionally trying to lose because the only people down there are on their road to 0 MMR.

Spirit Lance and Sven Stun are properly disjointable now.

Oh, interesting, when was this patched? I seem to remember they couldn't be disjointed at some point.

Sven Stun will still hit becaues of AOE I believe.

Not everyone, so you get into this weird situation where most players in the game are completelly terrible but there's a guy or a couple of friends that dominate the game and then start throwing and giving away Rapiers so they end up losing the game. I remember a few reports from someone at like 200 mmr, it was interesting.

I wonder what has a higher likelihood of loss: feeding asap from minute one, or ricing as hard as possible to feed a rapier asap.
From what I've heard, matches at that level generally include a player or two with like 1000 mmr who are actually trying to win in their own backwards way.

Giving someone a rapier will just cause them to go full retard and give it back I'd imagine and then it won't be muted so your teammate might win the game.
