My thoughts on the new hero picker: I like the idea, but the implementation isn't there right now. If people are just going to be switching into grid view anyways, what's the point? The worst though is that the grid view doesn't show the hero selections of the rest of your team, you have to go back for that, which makes for a lot of awkward switching to double check your teams' heroes. Being able to favorite heroes is cool though. | ||

To address your point, rapier is always an extremely effective but risky item. Could work if you were able to grab the aegis and had a bunch of support heroes like dazzle and omniknight to keep you alive. Darer ran a strat ages ago where G went treads into rapier on Sniper, got these items at about 19 minutes. They then went rosh and finished the game pretty quickly afterwards, omniknight just spammed repel on the sniper the whole game. A bit lucky though, G got swapped out when they were Roshing but enemy team didn't realise he had a rapier and Doom doomed omniknight. | ||
