I would be very depressed if a kid paid for water cooling on his gpu and he is asking on twitch chat for his 'overheating' problem.
+ Show Spoiler +the context is that cpu water cooling is very common nowadays, corsair h100i is everywhere thanks to the rather affordable price tag for awhile now, but water cooling the gpu is another thing that most people would just rather get a better gpu (with better cooling), not to say that 'better' gpu cards usually come with custom made pcb that generic water cooler won't fit on anyway

You are all to young to have had to deal with IRQ conflicts and the era before windows. It was a hard time where you desire to game had to be strong to deal with the level of bullshit required to get the game to work.
And building your own PC back then was scary times. I remember installing my first stick if ram. All 8 megs(two sticks of 4).

Can you tell us stories about world war 1 grandpa p6
|
I just got a lot cool stuff from my grandfather who recently passed away from WW2. That's about it.
If you want to talk about getting a bootleg copy of out of this world running on my 486, I can tell you all about rotoscoping.
Edit: seriously, what was the system people started gaming on? Mine was an old pong machine my parents got at a tag sale and a Commodore 64. The was a beautiful, dark era of weird bootleg ass video games.
Second edit: fun fact, Ms. Pacman wasn't released Namco at first. It was a weird bootleg another company built to mod the orginional board. But a previous lawsuit lead the company to se the devising of the board to midway. That's my old man story about video games in the 80s

Rotoscoping is just editing individual frames in a sequence. Smooth movement just has to do with how many frames of animation there are, which has nothing to do with rotoscoping directly.
It's not even a style, it's just a method.

It said rotoscoped right on the box and said it had "movie quality animation". It was a weird era, when computer boxes were huge and people put weird shit on them.

Another World used rotoscoping though, that's true.

Well I am sure your classes on animation are more accurate than my memory of a bootleg PC box from 26 years ago so I will assume it's true.

Rotoscoping is starting with live action footage and then animating over it
Any discussion about rotoscoping is also a good time to plug A Scanner Darkly

Possibly, although I wouldn't be entirely sure as I hated video editing.

Never again will I QQ about a game that is not LP. These 5 games have been unbearable
|
LP looks like the worst place in the world. It fills me with joy to know that my 100% success rate on reports has set those players to that pit.
|
lp is pretty fun actually or if you don't feel like playing just pick furion and afk on a cliff
