Honestly that's such a weird mentality to me. I much rather have it like that then the LCS match I watched earlier which was 3-7 45 minutes into the game because they just couldn't engage on each other at all. Funny thing about it, the team with 3 kills and with 6 less towers won the game. I'm still not sure how. | ||

It's not that they couldn't engage, it's that teams outside Korea have an exceedingly poor understanding of what fights they can and can't win (and when it's good for you to die for your team to win the fight), so a lot of teams play extremely passively. It's not fundamental to the game, it's just how bad Western teams are in League. No OGN game would play like that, because any decent Korean team in EG's position would have know how to push their advantage much better (and the not-so-decent ones would at least try to do so and fail rather than just pussyfooting around). That makes a lot more sense. I don't know why I ended up on it, but I tuned in and was all... wtf is this shit? Still I dunno. Overall the idea of actually being able to punish a positioning mistake is a big thing to me. A free get out of jail free card and absurd tankyness just tune me out entirely. But different strokes for different folks I guess. | ||
