I could have a tail! I COULD
I just don't want to

Man you just don't know what it is to have a tail, don't try to enforce your non-tail-having ways on Centaur, if he wants to protect his tail, its his right as a horseman to do that

Your first goal should be getting phase + stick, and my usual followup from then on is force staff. The great thing about force is, that it not only helps you with positioning and landing those clutch shackleshots, it also serves as a way for you to make sure that you survive the early/midgame engagements - and if you're aiming for lategame, that's quite important.
Either way - after phase + stick I'll usually go sheep. It gives you great presence in teamfights, it makes you able to initiate quite well on solo targets (force -> sheep target -> shackle target), and the stats make you finally able to spam powershot basically as much as you want.
After this, your next item is super important. If you're greedy/they have a bfly carry, you go mkb. You can go orchid if an extra silence is needed, Linkens if that item would fit your team. Blink if initiating is a big problem (it likely isn't).
I'd personally go mkb, then get crit. And then for the last slot? I'd look at a linkens or maybe a mjollnir. I guess that smart thing might be getting a linkens and then saving money up for a rapier - either selling the force or the crit. Hm.

I really don't wanna go support items like mek .. of course i'll go force staff i love force staff on her .. it's pretty flexible also helps me to not get flamed by my teammates. And i hate lothars. Against an organized team it's pretty useless most of the time aside from initiation and WR has force staff forward initiation or power shot vision to shackles initiation.
the normal item build i go is
boots --> wand ---> force staff ---> finish phase or threads or BOT(if i am ahead) --->aghs -->crystalis/maelstorm --> another damage item
so i should go like this right if want to deal damage and not buy support items .. So this will be my new item build guys.
boots --> wand --> force staff --- > maelstorm/sheep stick(if ahead or needs more)/crystalis/orchid --> aghs --> another damage item
What do you think ? i still play as 4/5 position support since my team/friend rarely play support. They always go carry or mid.

I always forget to buy that item in WR. Why do you guys go MKB first as the damage item ? aside from pauper damage items like mjolnir or deso..
What's the motivation behind it ?

Below a certain damage threshold MKB does more damage than Daedalus.

MKB used to be the best single damage item you could get on her(Not sure if still) so if you only going to get one it makes sense. Also helps deal with bfly/highground.
|
oh i did not know that. i thought that mjolnir worked better on her.
does the mkb chance worth it when using the ult without aghs ?
|
New Deso seems pretty strong on semi-carry WR, or am I wrong? Rushing that Orchid straight out of phase boots always seems to be worth it tho. Getting Basi and another sage mask can be invaluable.

;_; I bought 2 blindbox plushes from the valve store. Got 2 warlocks.
Why valve.

ring of Prot+Regen>Basi>boots>stick>Phase/Wand>Force/Meka>Meka/Force>Sheep>MKB/Linkens>Crit/BKB(doesn''t very often get to this point) is my standard WR build I think.
Sometimes Arcanes are neccesary for the team.

Phase Orchid Skadi. Gotta build the best item in the game guys

now that they fixed molnjir it could be descent on wr to get all the other expensive items sooner or am i wrong?

She doesn't really need the farming power or attack speed. Deso is a better cheap alternative damage item.

It's almost impossible to make the DPS transition off 4th position farm simply because by that point in the game, single damage items are not impactful. on a hero that already does not have DPS stats. It's generally a consideration for a mid Windrunner that did exceptionally well in lane, or an offlane Windrunner that crushed a 1v2 super hard.
Again, the key strength of that hero is flexibility. If you tie yourself down to a single item build or way of playing the hero, it'll very often feel like you're not doing anything because Windrunner is not strong enough in any one particular area to make focusing on that strong if it's not the right choice for the game.
